3. A Deep and Branching Story Campaign

For a strategy game, Battle Realms offers an exceptionally strong, layered, and emotional narrative.

Kenji's Journey: The main story centers around Kenji Oja, the heir to the throne returning from exile. The game provides extraordinary freedom with two branching storylines. If Kenji chooses the righteous path and defends the weak, he will lead the Dragon Clan. However, if he chooses the harsh, tyrannical, and ruthless path, he will resurrect the Serpent Clan. These two perspectives offer tremendous replayability.

Grayback's Journey (Winter of the Wolf): This prequel expansion features a story that is equally outstanding. You will lead Grayback in the Wolf Clan's rebellion as they fight to free their people from slavery in the Lotus Clan's mines. The story is dark, heroic, and incredibly satisfying once you finally crush the oppressors.

Battle Realms: Zen Edition is undeniable proof that brilliant gameplay mechanics and a solid story will never fade with time. Although we might have to bury the dream of ever seeing the Lair of the Lotus sequel, this Zen Edition is more than enough to quench the thirst of master strategists and its loyal fans.
